I am a clinical intern working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor, currently under the direct supervision of Dr. Sophia Murphy, DBH, LPC. I practice as a LGBTQIA++, Poly, Kink affirmative clinician, committed to multicultural humility and a trauma-informed focus. I am receiving supervision in family systems and psychodynamic theory. I also adhere to person-centered and liberation psychology theory. As a counselor, I am passionate about building a collaborative relationship in which you may feel supported to explore the interactions of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to work toward your most authentic state of being. I believe that therapy is unique to each individual and must be tailored around your personal goals and values.

I have worked with a range of individuals through concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, self-image, interpersonal effectiveness, and exploration of intersecting identities. Humans are as dynamic as the environments we come from, and I believe it is imperative to situate client concerns within the relevant social, cultural, and systemic context. I hope to continue exploring holistic approaches to healing, as I am deeply passionate about addressing health as it relates to mind, body, and spirit.

I would be honored to work with you on your healing journey by providing a validating, empathetic, affirmative space to help you find self-connection and live your most empowered life.
