I provide individual and relationship therapy to teens and adults. I use emotionally focused therapy (EFT) in order to help clients connect to their partners. So often, I see clients who care deeply about each other, but get caught up in a pattern of conflict, criticism, and blame. I want to help you to understand why you sometimes react by lashing out or distancing from a loved one when you actually want to be close to them. We can then collaboratively identify ways to practice and learn how to turn toward your loved one for connection instead of pushing each other away. I am open to working with heterosexual, same-sex, poly, or open relationships.

In my work, I help people reconnect with their own aliveness. Many of us feel deeply disconnected— from ourselves, from our loved ones, or from a life that we no longer recognize. And it hurts. We feel stuck, and those familiar patterns of resentment, insecurity, and numbing out just aren’t working for us anymore. I find that when we learn to stop spending our lives running from pain and instead practice moving towards love, joy, and connection, everything changes. I would love to help you find that.

In sessions with me, we’ll actively practice new ways of living– not just talk about it. This might look like building mindfulness & somatic skills, safely releasing pent up emotions, or learning new ways to identify and express your needs to your loved ones.
