I’m Abigail Weissman, Psy.D. (pronouns: she, her, hers), a Jewish, queer, and trans - identified clinical psychologist (PSY 27497) providing individual therapy virtually and in the Banker’s Hill and Rancho Bernardo communities of San Diego, California. You can also call me an empowering supporter and a self-love affirmer.
What I Do
I help teens and adults, including college students, of all genders (or no genders) who want to be their full queer, transgender, ADHD, religious, liberal, activist, polyamorous, and/or kink selves but hold themselves back because they are scared they will be unloved, unemployed, and rejected by their loved ones and communities.
I encourage clients to share their deepest wishes so that they can learn to be happy being themselves. I know from my own path to wellness and years of working with clients that it is possible to survive the fear of others' judgment, hurt, and disappointment to live your true self.
