Fully trained in Person-Centered Counseling. I also have training in Narrative Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and the use of improv skills for therapeutic purposes. I also practice Geek Therapy, which involves the use of a client’s interests as both a point of connection between therapist and client, and a way to relate the client’s experiences to those of favorite fictional characters.
I offer individual counseling for adults 18+, especially those experiencing feelings of isolation or “differentness” due to non-conforming/non-mainstream interests, lifestyle choices, neurodivergence, gender identity, sexuality, etc. I have also worked with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transition concerns, and other types of life issues.
Out-of-network service provider for all insurances; superbilling available for clients to seek direct reimbursement from insurance provider.
