My name is Niku (Nick) Shah and I am a queer person of the South Asian diaspora (any pronouns with respect and kindness are welcome), a guest on occupied Ohlone territory aka Oakland, CA. My ancestral roots come from present day India and Pakistan. I am fluent in Gujarati (especially after a warm up). I am a poly-friendly clinician and available to help support you and your boos through different relationship structures and dynamics, including your own personal processing in a polyamorous life context. I work with a psychodynamic, transpersonal and Gestalt orientation. I am trained in trauma informed therapy and in Brainspotting to help support you on your healing journey. I primarily serve Queer and Trans people of color in my work.
My individual session fee is $225 per 50 minute session. My intimate partners session fee is $250 per 50 minutes session. I can provide superbills for insurance reimbursement but do not accept insurance directly. If you think we are a good match and my fee is outside of your budget due to limited income or financial hardship, please reach out to discuss the possibility of a reduced fee option.
