Cher Hamilton-Tekautz (she/her), LCSW

I am a queer body-centered therapist specializing in helping individidual LGBTQ adults with anxiety, complex trauma, and childhood trauma. I help folks quiet their inner critic, develop self-compassion, and get back into their bodies to live life with more presence and joy. I really enjoy working with queer folks and those engaging in consensual non-monogamy and I am kink knowledgeable. I work from an anti-racist, anti-oppressive, culturally responsive framework. I’m also a huge fan of Pleasure Activism and am on my own journey of embracing pleasure. I am trained in Level 2 of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, which addresses developmental/complex trauma and attachment wounds so my approach is mindfulness based, attachment focused, incorporates parts work, and of course the body.
