MS in Counseling from Southern Methodist University (specialty in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in LGBTQIAP+ Affirmative Therapy). I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I am an LPC-Associate licensed in Texas, License # 89773. My supervisor’s name is M. Camille Williams, LPC-S #71492.
My specialty area is LGBTQIAP+ affirmative counseling, in that I am trained and experienced in working with all types of sexes, genders, sexual/affectional orientation, and lifestyles. I have experience working with individuals, relationships, and families ages 16 to 85. I have experience doing HRT assessments and negotiating polyamory with clients. My approach is person-centered and I integrate CBT, DBT, art, and music in my work with clients. I am English-speaking.
As an LPC-Associate I do not take insurance but I have a sliding scale from $68-$100. My office is wheelchair-accessible, and I also offer online therapy.
