Darrin Pfannenstiel

LPC-A - (at Eros Coaching and Counseling)

I hold a law degree (J.D.) and especially work with attorneys and other professionals. I also hold a Masters of Education in Counseling and Development. My Texas law license is #24002761. My therapy license is LPC-A # 89866. I am supervised by Mark Cagle, LPC-S #71799.

I am currently completing my certification as a sex therapist from an AASECT-approved program, the Sexual Health Alliance (SHA) (www.sexualhealthalliance.org) located in Austin, Texas. The program is sex-positive and includes additional training in kink-awareness and education, polyamory, consensual non-monogamy, etc.

I am an attorney-turned-therapist licensed in Texas to provide counseling. I provide sex therapy, including therapy for relationships, whether those relationships are couples or poly or as defined by the persons in the relationship.

My practice is geared toward individuals, couples/relationships, and sex therapy for adults 18+ struggling with sexual performance, erectile dysfunction, polyamory, non-monogamy, fetish, kink, porn, and sex. My master’s degree training is focused particularly on marriage, family and relationships. I use the Gottman Method and Bowen Family Systems generally for my clients, but my overall approach is Integrative — meaning, I tailor the service to each client’s differing needs. I do my sex therapy work in consultation with Dr. Shawn Crissman where I did my clinical work as a student.

I offer tele-therapy state-wide in Texas, and in-person to those in the DFW Metroplex.
