Dear Rooted Lotus is an LGBTQ+, POC & neurodiversity-affirming, body-trust, sex-positive, poly/kink-aware practice for individuals and partners, founded by queer woman of color. As a bilingual (Mandarin Chinese) psychotherapist, Rebekah (she/they) specializes in trauma, sex, gender, relationship, and eating disorders. She is drawn toward non-pathologizing strength-based perspectives. Her clinical philosophy emphasizes empowering the marginalized through an anti-oppressive multicultural feminist lens.
Licensed in California and China, and trained across Europe, North America, and Asia, Rebekah is privileged to be one of the few psychotherapists with extensive educational and clinical experience in both the West and the East. She is trained in Gender Sexuality and Relationship Diversity therapy and sex therapy. Rebekah brings you a unique approach weaving together parts work (Internal Family System), body-oriented (somatic), and brain-based (EMDR) interventions, with a trauma-informed focus on attachment and relational dynamics (Emotionally Focused Therapy).
