I’m an occupational therapist, somatic coach, educator, and activist. I’m also queer, genderqueer, polyamorous, white, and intentional about being antiracist, fat positive, kink friendly, trauma informed, disability aware, and pagan friendly.
Services:
(1) I offer somatic coaching for fat acceptance for adults everywhere. I’m here to help people get fat positivity and body neutrality from their brain to their gut. Somatic coaching means that we work with the body’s sensations and experiences to make change deeper than our conscious thoughts. To be clear, coaching is not therapy, and I don’t provide occupational therapy services in my coaching practice. Using mindfulness, somatic experiencing techniques, cognitive learning, and rebuilding associations, my clients and I work to get free of the unconscious beliefs about fat that are holding them back. Anyone who wants to build a better relationship with their body, or better support the people in their life can benefit.
(2) I also offer occupational therapy or OT, which means I help people do the things that they care about most. I use a somatic approach to help my clients listen to their bodies and access their most focused self, so they can build routines that work and create sustainable lives. My skills are particularly useful for regulating the nervous system, reducing fatigue, improving executive function, managing pain, and creating functional routines for living. I work with adults with executive function issues, ADHD and other neurodiversity, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, long COVID, and anyone whose body or brain makes it harder to do what they want to be able to do.
