I am a sex positive non-judgmental, kink affirmative, poly friendly counselor. I have worked with many polyamorous clients individually and in relationship groups. One of my specialties is the treatment of sexual abuse or trauma. I am also trained in the treatment of male and female sexual issues as well as discrepant desire in relationships. I help relationship groups with emotion regulation and communication skills. I am trained in The Gottman Method, Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy, CBT, EMDR, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
Typically for couples or relationship groups I will want to meet with everyone for the first session then each individual person in the relationship group (charged at the individual fee) and then bring all parties back together. In many cases one individual in the relationship group has sexual trauma or other sexual issues that may need individual treatment while the relationship group is simultaneously working on relationship issues. As mentioned above any individual treatment session would be charged the individual rate.
