We all feel stuck, beat down and demoralized sometimes. Whether it’s by stress at work; feeling disconnected from friends, partners, maybe even yourself; a recent devastating loss; or some other challenge in your life, it’s important to know that you’re not alone and there is help. My approach is best defined as evidence-based, highlighted with a warm, safe, welcoming, and understanding environment. I use science-based therapeutic techniques and approaches to empower clients with the tools to directly address their difficulties, while creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for them to be who they truly are. My heart and passion lies with serving and uplifting LGBTQIA+ communities. I have authored multiple publications and presented in local and national conferences on the systemic factors that contribute to health disparities in LGBTQIA+ folks, and on therapeutic interventions that help empower them.

As a Latinx Gay man, I personally know the value of being able to talk to people in the LGBTQIA+ community who understand what it’s like to live life as a sexual/gender minority in today’s society. I also have experience working with folks in the Poly, ENM, and Kink communities. Whatever you’re struggling with, I am here to help.
