Ro Brown (they/them)

Queer-affirming and sex-positive BACP registered counsellor
I am a counsellor registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, membership number 411579. I hold a postgraduate diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling from the Psychosynthesis Trust.

Hi! I work online with individuals navigating ethical non-monogamy (ENM), polyamory, and other diverse relationship structures. I work with people facing common challenges such as jealousy, identity, comparison, attachment anxiety, boundary negotiation, communication breakdown, NRE dynamics, and the practical and emotional complexities of intimate relationships.

My approach is integrative and depth-oriented. Alongside exploring present-day relational challenges, we may look at the attachment patterns and early relational experiences that shape how you show up in intimacy. We may work with the body, or the imagination. Therapy with me is less about quick fixes and more about creating lasting change through awareness, emotional regulation, and relational experimentation.

I work affirmatively with LGBTQ+ clients and am sex-positive and kink-aware. I aim to offer a space where diverse identities, desires and relationship structures are understood rather than pathologised.

If you’re seeking thoughtful, reflective support as you navigate non-monogamy, whether you’re new to it, long-practising, or reconsidering what works for you, you’re welcome to get in touch.
