Gonji Lee LCSW is a licensed therapist who primarily works with QTIBIPOC, ENM and neurodivergent communities. They offer individual and relationship therapy sessions for teens and adults via telehealth throughout Los Angeles & California. Over the last 10 years, they have developed targeted skills around trauma, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, relationships, communication, and boundary work. They use a combination of somatic & top-down approaches to support the healing process. While venting can be incredibly helpful, they believe therapists must provide support beyond that.
Gonji is trained in DBT to help you learn tangible coping skills to get through escalated emotions or dissociation in the present moment. They combine DBT with the somatic approaches of Brainspotting & IFS (parts work), which can help your nervous system engage in deeper healing so that past pain is less visceral, and long-term healing feel possible. This can help you break out of cycles of emotional overwhelm, disconnection, self criticism, low self esteem, attachment wounds or relationship conflict.
Gonji sees mental health work as a liberatory practice to decolonize healing and deconstruct systems of power. They integrate anti-racist, disability justice, poly, and queer liberation values into every aspect of therapy. They utilize a neurodivergent affirming framework to understand and work with the different ways our brains and nervous systems are wired. They will collaborate with you to create an approach that is tailored to your unique experiences and needs.
