I am a queer and non-binary art therapist with additional training in human sexuality, utilizing a trauma-informed understanding, and a relational, strength-based, person-centered approach. I meet clients where they are at and hold the values of transparency, social justice, and collaboration with my clients. Questions and feedback are encouraged. I work with clients on establishing safety in the present, while accessing strengths and felt sense, in order to integrate emotions, parts, and past experiences to achieve a sense of wholeness. I provide my clients with a caring therapeutic environment and co-regulation through the therapeutic relationship, which is key for allowing a more stabilized nervous system and a deeper dive into one’s experiences. My theoretical approaches integrate existential therapy, attachment theory, and polyvagal theory. This means that I look at how you answer the big questions in life, how you relate to others, and what has affected you and your body, all through a trauma lens. I operate from an inclusionary, compassionate, strengths-based approach that is body positive, sex positive, anti-racist, and anti-oppression.
I have training and experience in attachment theory, polyvagal theory, healing within oppressive systems, working with different forms of trauma, CBT, and DBT. I greatly enjoy working with over 21, LGBTQIA+ folx, those in any of the types of relationships under the umbrella term of consensual non-monogamy, gender identity exploration, sexual identity exploration, kink and kink dynamics, sex workers, differently abled (neurodiverse, physical disability, & chronically ill/spoonies), and any or all intersections of the above. I work with individuals, couples, and moresomes (on an as needed basis). I love helping clients to find feelings of safety in their bodies, and enhance or develop the ability to thrive. Not all clients may desire this, which is completely okay!

Hello, I’m Cas. I get that the process of choosing a clinician can be difficult and intimidating. I’m here to help ease the pain whenever you’re ready. I am a LPC Associate(under supervision of Dr. Melisa Fleming, LPC-S) with my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M-San Antonio. I also have my sex therapy certification from the Sexual Health Alliance, and am working towards my doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision.
I have worked in community health organizations for over 10 years and now that I am in the role of counselor I still hold that we are all very affected by the world around us. Those with long-term health struggles and minority status suffer more than they deserve, and I want to help alleviate some of that undue burden, by treating the sexual/relationship side of you as a strength in the fight with your everyday battles. I focus on using Neuro-Narrative, with a heavy dash of systems thinking and attachment theory, to help people find contentment in life and move through trauma in a way that empowers.
I have advanced training in working with diverse couples and individuals struggling with long-term mental health disorders or chronic health issues. I also have gained specialized training in consensual non-monogamy, polyamory, kink, fetish or LGBTQ+ identity/orientation, but I understand that those aspects of you are only part of the mosaic of you. If you desire to work with someone who gets that intersectional life(both on a professional and personal level), then I would be honored to help you on your journey of healing/growth.

My work is rooted in deep listening, transparency, and present moment awareness. I offer a safe and accountable space in which my clients’ can see, hear, and experience themselves more genuinely, with less defenses. An important part of supporting my clients’ healing involves appreciating the complexity of human experience, and piecing together the emotional, physical, neurological, relational, cultural, and societal components that contribute to my clients’ present concerns. There is no discrete solution, all these pieces are interconnected in the micro and macro levels - cultivating awareness and understanding of this brings forth change. I believe that people should make choices that make them happy, and work hard to instill radical self-love in my clients, as well as working to minimize the effects of internalized societal oppression.

There are so many messages we absorb growing up that just don’t fit anymore—messages about who we should be, how we should love, or how we should live. For those in the kink, polyamory, and ethical non-monogamy communities, those messages can feel even louder and more isolating. Maybe you’re carrying the weight of expectations to be “perfect,” to stay silent about your relationships, or to deny the parts of yourself that feel most authentic. Maybe stress, loss, or simply the pressures of day-to-day life are making it hard to feel grounded or even get out of bed. But there is so much more to you than labels, expectations, or the experiences that shaped you.
I’m a licensed mental health counselor in Florida, and I exclusively provide telehealth counseling for individuals. As a cisgender Afro-Caribbean woman and someone deeply familiar with navigating identities that don’t fit into society’s neat boxes, I know how important it is to have a space where you can bring all of yourself—without judgment. Together, we can explore what’s keeping you stuck and work on creating a more peaceful, authentic here-and-now. This is your space to talk about the things you’ve held back, the hard stuff, and the beautiful complexity of who you are. Let’s talk about it—ALL of it.
